Posh Collection
Developed on demand and at the request of our customers. After many years in the industry where the general perception is that piercing jewelry should be big, masculine and provocative, we decided to design our own jewelry that should be beautiful, minimalistic, give less friction and work better in practice.
With a large and experienced team, we have been able to study the advantages and disadvantages of different jewelry materials and designs over a long period of time, so our factories only produce hypoallergenic jewelry that has been tested for a long time.

The content of our jewelry is as follows:
Gold:
24k 100% gold
18k 75% gold
14k 58.5% gold
Rose gold is the most common in Norway. It contains gold, silver and cups. White gold contains gold, silver, copper and palladium. Gold works very well as piercing jewelry, but not as first-time jewelry. Gold can tarnish and this is due to sulphides and chlorides that are excreted from the skin. Here we have suppliers such as Maria Tash, Body Gems & BVLA.
Surgical steel: All our steel is classified as surgical steel and labeled with HSAC – High Sensitivity Approved & Certified. This means that it complies with the EU directive for products that are in close and prolonged contact with the skin. In addition, our jewelry is regularly checked by an independent third party, such as the Swedish Chemicals Agency (Kemikalieinspektionen), to ensure that it meets strict requirements for safety and material quality.
Titan: Titanium is very similar to niobium except that it is mixed with other metals. The only one that fits is Ti 6AL4V ELI. Titanium can also be colored. Is allowed to be sold and to be inserted into leaky holes. Here we have suppliers such as Neometall, Industrial Strength & Anatometal.
PTFE: Plastic-like material used in healthcare. It is suitable to switch to if you are having surgery or an X-ray.
Alloy: The jewelry marked Alloy means mixed material that is gold plated or silver plated with 18k gold or 925s silver respectively. These should preferably be taken out when showering or bathing, because over time the color will fade.
Silver 925s: For silver jewellery in 925s silver, the jewellery will, like all other silver, over time become dull, dark/black or have a color that resembles gold. To make your silver jewelry shine again, there are several good tips. For example, you can use silver dip. But be careful not to use dips on gold-plated jewelry and pearl jewelry.
All jewelry is at your own risk
How to change jewelry yourself
- Start by showering your entire body, paying extra attention to the piercing you’re changing.
- It’s best to use latex gloves to get a better grip on your jewelry and make it easier to put them on and take them off. They can be purchased at the pharmacy.
- Do not change jewelry over the sink if you lose it. Preferably have someone do it for you while you are lying down.
- If it’s a labrett or a barbell, you turn the ball counterclockwise. Almost all types of rings are opened by pulling the ring apart.
- Wash off the jewelry before inserting it.

Sustainability & maintenance go hand in hand
Posh Collection is and has always been produced from recycled silver & gold with the environment & our planet in mind. So you as a consumer can have a clear conscience when you shop with us.
Maintenance of gold-plated 925 silver jewelry
If you take good care of your jewelry, it will last much longer, which in turn is better for our planet. When it comes to gold-plated jewelry, these are coated with gold on the surface. This will weaken over time and the color will become somewhat lighter. Gold-plated jewelry does not have the same properties as solid gold. Sterling silver is a high-quality material, but it should be noted that it is a soft material that can be bent if the jewelry is not treated carefully.
We recommend that you do not shower/bathe with gold-plated jewelry:
- We advise you to take off gold-plated jewelry when exercising
- Avoid getting alcohol, hair products, chlorinated water and lotions directly on the jewelry
- Don’t store your jewelry in the bathroom, it’s best to store it in a jewelry box or zip lock bag
- Wipe the jewelry regularly with a dry, soft cloth.
Surgical steel is one of the most durable and long-lasting materials in the world. It can last for decades, and as such it is considered a green and environmentally friendly material. Surgical steel is fully recyclable. Its production does not emit any significant amount of carbon dioxide, so it is much more environmentally friendly than many other materials.
NB: Our piercing jewelry is classified as hygiene articles, and can therefore not be exchanged after purchase in our physical store. They can be exchanged when purchased from the online store within the return period as long as the seal is not broken.
